The Thomaston Police Explorer Post 4343 is a program established to expose young men and women ages 14 through 20 to different aspects of law enforcement.  Dedicated to developing pride and self-discipline while achieving personal goals.  As a team, we are committed to volunteering services to our community.

What is Exploring?

Exploring is the Boy Scout's of America's youth development program for young men and women 14 through 20 years of age and who subscribes to the Explorer Code.

The purpose of the Thomaston Police Explorer Post 4343 is to provide and guide young people into law enforcement opportunities, provide experiences to help them mature and to prepare them to become responsible and caring adults.

If you are interested in becoming a Thomaston Police Explorer, please call the Thomaston Police Department at (860) 283-4343 or attend a meeting.  Meetings are held every Thursday night at the Thomaston Police Department from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
