The Thomaston Volunteer Ambulance Corps, located at 237 South Main Street (behind the fire station), consists of approximately 35 active members. The Corps operates two ambulances at the MIC-I with D-Fib and Epi-Pen level.
Ambulance service is available 24 hours per day, 7 days a week at no cost to the patient. Ambulance Corps members carry pagers and are dispatched through the Thomaston Police Department. Depending on the "on-duty" crew, members either respond directly to the scene or to ambulance headquarters.
Ambulance Headquarters is also the Town's designated warming and cooling station as needed during extreme temperatures and/or power outages.
