Light Up Thomaston

Light Up Thomaston provides a night of free food, fun and entertainment for all who come. It is a night for families to come together in our community and celebrate the beginning of the holiday season. It is a tradition that draws crowds of thousands from our town and many towns and communities around us.

This event closes down Main Street for the evening so we can provide a parade, live entertainment, roaming railroad, horse and carriage rides, a petting zoo, face painting, balloon bending, free refreshments and, of course, visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus!

Light Up Thomaston is a free event run by volunteers. Your support is needed to ensure this tradition continues. Your donations are appreciated.

Our largest fundraiser is the Festival of Trees which is held in the Lena Morton Gallery. Raffle tickets are sold at the event for a chance to win the beautifully decorated trees and gift baskets.
