The mission of the Town of Thomaston Social Services Department is to provide all town residents with resources and assistance that improves and explores options and possibilities to enhance hope for the future.
In our commitment to promote the health and well-being of Thomaston residents, the Social Services Department offers a range of essential services designed to support various needs within our community. Our services are tailored to assist individuals and families, particularly focusing on the elderly, veterans, and those in need of general health and social services.

Our office will continue to offer referral services as well as assist with variety of local programs, including the Thomaston Crisis Fund, the New Beginnings school clothing program and seasonal donation programs, the Thomaston Christmas program, the Rotary Fuel Fund and Salvation Army assistance.
Our office also provides information and sign-ups for the Town's minibus for seniors and the disabled. Our bus operates three days a week (Tuesday-Thursday), free of charge.
