For $45, you'll receive vaccination and spaying or neutering for your new pet. Most veterinarians are participants with the State. Connecticut is only one of the few states nationwide to offer spay/neuter benefits.

Dog Licensing Requirements
Remember to have your pet licensed at 6 months old. To license your pet, contact the Town Clerk.

It is important to display the license tag on your pet's collar. This tag will help relocate a lost dog get back to their owner.

Rabies Vaccination Requirements

Once you adopt your pet you must get them vaccinated against rabies within three (3) months.  Failure to have dog or cat current on their rabies shots can result in an infraction of $136.00 per animal.
