Free Summer Concert Series

The Fine Arts Connection of Thomaston continues its 21st year of **free** summer outdoor concerts at Reeves Little League Field, 9 North Main St., Thomaston. The corporate sponsor for the Summer Concert Series is the Thomaston Savings Bank Foundation. Each concert runs 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. The July 22nd concert features the **_Shed Rats._** The Shed Rats are a 4-piece blues/rock band from Southington, CT. Playing songs from Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, the Grateful Dead and many others, they bring a unique blend of rock, blues and bluegrass to their concerts. Staying true to their name, the Shed Rats do actually practice in a shed, hence their name! The band includes: Scot Siarkowski, acoustic guitar, vocals; Jess Levin, bass; Tom Turci, electric guitar, vocals; and Alex Derynioski, drums, percussion. Reeves Field is handicap accessible. The Little League Café will be open for food and snacks. Bring your lawn chair or blanket, leave your alcohol at home, sit back and enjoy the wonder of live music!  In the event of inclement weather, the concerts will be held at Thomaston High School, 185 Branch Road (Route 109), which is also handicap-accessible.
