Humility: How Jesus Showed the Way

In a polarized society, humility is hard to embody. We grow defensive, unwilling to learn and listen. Our witness as followers of Christ is at stake if we do not model the humble way of Jesus to the world watching us.

Covenant Church of Thomaston and First Congregational Church of Thomaston are hosting a Bible study during the Lenten season, where we will gather together Wednesday evenings at 7pm as the body of Christ to study the way of Jesus and humility. Both churches will take turns hosting, with both Pastor Stephanie and Pastor Marcus teaching.

The Covenant Church will meet in the basement at the Potter's House (entrance and parking in the east lot just off Clay Street.) The Congregational Church will meet in the basement by the church offices. The first week will meet at the Covenant Church.
