The Town of Thomaston has opted to declare a state of emergency as has been suggested by DEMHS. The principle reason for this declaration is to enable the town to recover any and all expenses that may be incurred as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. This declaration serves no further purpose than the recovery of funds.
