The electors and those persons eligible to vote in town meetings of the Town of Thomaston, Connecticut, are hereby warned and notified that a Special Town Meeting will be held in the Lena Morton Gallery at the Thomaston Town Hall, 158 Main Street, Thomaston, Connecticut on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. for the following purposes:
- As recommended by the Board of Finance, to appropriate $58,700 from the budget surplus of the Town of Thomaston for the current fiscal year with balance to come from Contingency to purchase a 2017 Ford E-Series shuttle bus, or if not available, an equivalent substitute shuttle bus.
- To consider and act on an ordinance amending Inland Wetlands and Water Courses Commission fees, codified at Chapter 54, Article I, Appendix B of the Thomaston Code of Ordinances entitled, “Fee Schedule – Inland Wetlands and Watercourses”.
- As recommended by the Planning & Zoning Commission, to consider and act on a new Chapter and Article to Part III of the Thomaston Code of Ordinances entitled, “An Ordinance Regulating Small Wireless Facilities in the Town of Thomaston”.
