Thomaston Citizens Police & Emergency Services Academy
Tuesdays, 6-8 pm May 1 through June 12, 2018 Town Hall Senior Center
This FREE 7 week program is designed to give Thomaston community members, age 18 and older, an overview of the Thomaston Police Department, Fire Department and Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Classes will be taught by our own experienced personnel, to address general and local topics of interest in all 3 areas. This highly interactive program will also provide participants with several hands-on experiences with police, fire and EMS equipment AND the opportunity for a police ride-along, for those who successfully complete the program. This program requires the full 7 week commitment for completion.
Applications are available at the Thomaston Police Department front desk, located inside Town Hall. Completed applications must be returned to the Thomaston Police Department front desk no later than April 10, 2018.
