Adopt your pet from Thomaston K-9 Kennel or call (860) 283-8640.

For $45, you'll receive vaccination and spaying or neutering for your new pet. Most all veterinarians are participants with the State. Connecticut is only one of the few states nationwide to offer spay/neuter benefits.

Remember to have your pet licensed at 6 months. To license your pet, see the Town Clerk Dog licensing and animal control, 158 Main Street, Level 3.

$8 - Spayed or neutered
$19 - Unspayed or unneutered
After July 1st each year $1 per month for State fee.

It is important to display license tag on your pet's collar. Tag will help relocate the lost dog back to the owner.

Three months to have rabies shots.

Failure to have dog or cat current on rabies shots an infraction for $136.00 per animal can be given.

Other infractions that can be given are: Failure to license $75.00
